Hermann Struve (born October 3, 1854, in Saint Petersburg) was a German astronomer and citizen. He was educated at the University of Tartu and had two known doctoral students, Richard Prager and Erich Hubner. Hermann was the father of Georg Hermann Struve and the son of Otto Wilhelm von Struve.
Struve passed away on August 12, 1920, in Bad Herrenalb.
