Henry Moore

Henry Moore was a British artist and illustrator born on July 30, 1898, in Castleford. He was educated at Castleford Academy, Leeds Arts University, and the Royal College of Art. Moore held citizenship in the United Kingdom and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.

Moore was prominent in the art world, particularly in genres such as abstract art, figurative art, and organic abstraction. Some of his notable works include Two-Piece Reclining Figure: Points, Draped Seated Woman 1957–58, and Reclining Figure: Festival.

Henry Moore passed away on August 31, 1986, in Maureillas-las-Illas.
