Hans Spemann (born June 27, 1869, in Stuttgart and died September 9, 1941, in Freiburg im Breisgau) was a German biologist and physician known for his work in embryology. He was a citizen of Germany. Spemann received the 1935 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his research on embryonic induction and the discovery of the Organiser.

Spemann was educated at Heidelberg University and Eberhard-Ludwigs-Gymnasium. During his career, he mentored doctoral students, including Viktor Hamburger and Hilde Mangold.
