Gustav Bergmann (born 4 May 1906 in Vienna and died 21 April 1987 in Iowa City, Iowa) was an Austrian-born philosopher and lawyer. He held Austrian citizenship, Austrian-Hungarian citizenship, and later became a United States citizen. Bergmann was educated at the University of Vienna and is known for his work as a philosopher. Among his doctoral students was May Brodbeck.
