Gudrid (グズリーズ, Guzurīzu) is a supporting character of Vinland Saga. A once widowed young woman, first introduced fleeing from her second husband by arranged marriage. She now travels with Thorfinn and company with the hopes of creating a paradise in Vinland. She is Thorfinn's wife.
Appearance
Gudrid had black hair in twin braids, however it was cut short after Gudrid cut it off as a way to rebel. She initially wears a yellow scarf and a red outfit. As of 1021, her hair and bangs have grown back and are longer in length, often wearing it either tied up in a bun, or leaving it out.
Background
A strange woman, given the times, she wishes to be a sailing adventurer, so stabs her (former) husband, and flees as he is attempting to consummate their marriage. Thorfinn allows her to join them, and they set off together, attempting to outpace her spouse.
