Griffin Dunne (born June 8, 1955) is an American actor, film director, film producer, and screenwriter. He was born in New York City and holds United States citizenship.
Dunne attended the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre and later the Fountain Valley School of Colorado. He is the son of prominent writer and journalist Dominick Dunne and the father of actress Hannah Dunne.
In his career, Griffin Dunne has directed films, including Addicted to Love, starring Meg Ryan and Matthew Broderick.
