Ginuwine

Ginuwine, born Elgin Baylor Lumpkin on October 15, 1970, is a singer-songwriter, musician, actor, and dancer from Washington, D.C., United States. He is an American citizen and holds a United States nationality.

Ginuwine was educated at Forestville High School and worked in the music industry, with a focus on genres such as rhythm and blues, soul music, contemporary R&B, and blues. He is primarily known by his pseudonym, Ginuwine, but has also used the alias Tornado. He was named after the basketball player Elgin Baylor. In addition to his singing career, Ginuwine is involved in the music as a songwriter.
