Frédéric Chopin

Frédéric Chopin was born on February 22, 1810, in Żelazowa Wola. He held citizenship of Poland, France, and the Russian Empire. Chopin was a composer, pianist, virtuoso, and musician. He was educated at Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and the University of Warsaw. His father was Nicolas Chopin.

Chopin's notable works include Polonaise in A-flat major, Op. 53; Études; Nocturnes; and Ballades. He passed away in Paris on October 17, 1849.
