Frank Lloyd Wright was an American architect, urban planner, writer, and designer born on June 8, 1867 in Richland Center, Wisconsin. He held citizenship in the United States and received education at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Wright is known for founding the Taliesin Associated Architects and being the creator of the Kalita Humphreys Theater. Some of his most notable works include the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Fallingwater, Prairie School, Pettit Memorial Chapel, Emil Bach House, and A. D. German Warehouse. Frank Lloyd Wright passed away on April 9, 1959, in Phoenix, Arizona.
Wright's birth name was Franklin Lincoln Wright. He had three children: Anne Baxter, John Lloyd Wright, and Lloyd Wright.
