Frances Kellor (October 20, 1873 – January 4, 1952) was an American writer, sociologist, and influential figure in various social reform movements, particularly those focused on the integration of immigrants into American society. Kellor was born in Columbus, Ohio, and later became a US citizen.
Kellor received her education from prestigious institutions, such as Cornell University, the University of Chicago, and Cornell Law School. Throughout her career, she applied her educational background and experiences to various social reform endeavors.
One of her most notable accomplishments was founding the National Urban League, an organization dedicated to the economic and social empowerment of African Americans and other underserved urban communities.
