Forbidden Rice is a type of rice that is grown in China, as well as in some regions of Southeast Asia and the United States. This type of rice is also known as Black Rice (black rice) or Purple Rice (purple rice) due to its unusual dark purple color.

In the past, Forbidden Rice was reserved only for the emperors of China and was considered more valuable and nutritious than regular white rice. Today, Forbidden Rice is available to everyone and is becoming increasingly popular as a healthy alternative to regular white rice.

Forbidden Rice contains more nutrients than white rice, including higher levels of antioxidants, protein, iron and other minerals. It also contains slower-digesting carbohydrates, making you feel full longer and less cravings for snacking.

Forbidden rice has a dense texture and a pleasant, slightly nutty flavor. It can be used as a side dish for various dishes, as well as for desserts, soups and salads.
