Food City is the largest wholesale and retail food center in Russia, part of the Kievskaya Ploshchad holding. Food City is located in Moscow on Kaluga Highway, 900 m from the Moscow Ring Road. The total area is 91 hectares. Food City was created by analogy with the giant wholesale food market "Rangis" near Paris. The main goal of the Food City agrocluster is to guarantee the sale of its products to agricultural producers and provide residents of the capital with fresh goods. At the moment, the turnover of products of the wholesale and retail center is 1.8 million tons per year, or five thousand tons per day. This is 15% of the food turnover of Moscow.

Now the agrocluster includes a shopping complex with an area of 346.5 thousand square meters, wholesale warehouses with an area of 300 thousand square meters and 10 cross-docks with a total area of 50 thousand square meters. In August 2015, the Meat-Poultry-Fish and Live Fish cross-docs (with a swimming pool) were opened.
