Fletcher Christian (25 September 1764 – 20 September 1793) was a sailor from the Kingdom of Great Britain known for his role in the mutiny on the HMS Bounty. Born in Brigham, Cumbria, Christian had a career in the British Navy, eventually leading to his most famous act of rebellion in 1789.

Christian's death occurred in Adamstown, Pitcairn Islands, where some of the mutineers had settled in an attempt to evade capture by British authorities. Fletcher Christian's life and actions have made him an enduring figure in maritime history and British colonial history.
