Ernst Cohen (born March 7, 1869) was a chemist from the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Cohen studied at the University of Amsterdam, where his doctoral advisor was Jacobus Henricus van 't Hoff. He later died at the Auschwitz concentration camp on March 5, 1944. Cohen was an important figure in the field and his contributions to chemistry continue to be recognized today.
