Ernest Starling (17 April 1866 – 2 May 1927) was a person from the United Kingdom who was a noteworthy physiologist. He was born in London and passed away in Kingston, Jamaica. Starling completed his education at the University of London.

One of Starling's doctoral students was Henry Hallett Dale, who went on to become a prominent British pharmacologist, and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1936.
