I am a Fintech, Blockchain and Digital Asset expert and I am at my best when combining legal, technology and policy questions. I have written for Coindesk and Crowdfund Insider and spoken at Ethereal, SXSW, Block FS, Cyber Symposium, Fluidity and Token Summit to name a few, as well as regularly testifying before the Wyoming Blockchain Task Force and other governmental bodies. My Digital Assets experience broadly covers STOs, blockchain-for-capital-markets, custody, Stablecoins, CBDCs, digital identity and various aspects of compliance for all of that. I am currently the Founder, CEO and General Counsel of the Satis Group and I am also a FINRA Registered Representative holding the Series 63 and 79 at ConsenSys Digital Securities LLC.

My background is as an attorney admitted in the UK and US (CA, CO and NY) - with significant in-house and firm experience, who has honed the role of strategic advisor to Boards and C-Suites for many years. After many years in start ups, I have a strong skill set for working with engineers and other experts to end up at a holistic product result: successful, compliant and robust. In addition to digital assets, I have significant experience across a broad range of areas including global capital markets, corporate finance, M&A, regulatory issues including broker dealer compliance, corporate governance, intellectual property, antitrust laws, fund formation, employment and privacy laws. In addition, I have significant US experience regarding IPOs, public company reporting, high yield debt, novel securitizations, and private placements.

Prior to founding the Satis Group, I spent a year with the Argon Group and before that that I had spent several years in start-ups, particularly med-tech. This followed over a decade of experience in the law firms of Simpson Thacher, Skadden Arps and Herbert Smith Freehills.
