Edmond de la Fontaine

Edmond de la Fontaine, also known by his pseudonym Dicks, was born on July 24, 1823, in Luxembourg City. He was a citizen of Luxembourg and held various occupations throughout his life, including lawyer, poet, author, politician, writer, and judge.

De la Fontaine's education took place at the Athénée de Luxembourg, Heidelberg University, and the University of Liège. His father was Gaspard-Théodore-Ignace de la Fontaine. Throughout his literary career, Edmond de la Fontaine primarily wrote poetry.
