Dmitry Anuchin

Dmitry Anuchin (1843-1923) was a Russian anthropologist, geographer, explorer, and Heimatforscher primarily known for his work in the field of anthropology. He was born on August 27, 1843, in Saint Petersburg and died on June 4, 1923, in Moscow. Anuchin held Russian Empire citizenship and was educated at Moscow State University.

Throughout his academic career, Dmitry Anuchin mentored students who went on to make their own contributions to their respective fields. Among these doctoral students were Alexander Kruber and Mikhail Gremyatskiy.
