Denis Simachev is a Russian designer who managed to realize himself not only in the professional sphere. Having survived the crisis that affected his business, the fashion designer was able to recover from the financial turmoil. While continuing his career in fashion and style, Simachev is also trying his hand as a restaurateur and entrepreneur.
The start of his creative biography was marked by a successful presentation at the MosShoes shoe exhibition, where he got positive feedback from the experts. At the contest "Step into the Future" Denis won the 1st place. Then he won the "Youth Runway in the Capital" award and became a finalist of the Hong Kong Smirnoff International Fashion Awards. At the last one the stylist presented his author collection.
In 2001 the designer opened his own company and started to promote the DENIS SIMACHEV label. Within a year Simachev's first collection appeared on the runway of Pret-a-porter Fashion Week, and five years later he opened a boutique in Moscow. In 2006 he became the best designer of the year according to GQ magazine. Developing his own brand, Simachev began to cooperate with sports brands and even became the author of the Atom DSS snowboard design.Strengthening his position in the fashion world, he also tried himself in show business. Denis agreed to participate in the project "City Dudes" as a co-host. For some time the designer was a TV presenter of the "Fashion Verdict" program, replacing Alexander Vasilyev. Simachev was also on the jury of the show "Top Model in Russian - 5".
Denis Simachev represented author's models at the Italian Fashion Week, continuing to develop in his profile direction. He created designer bows and emphasized national motifs, traditional elements and symbols of the USSR. T-shirts with "Khokhloma" painting by Simachev were popular in 2013-2015.
Denis' appearance in the TV project "Secret Millionaire" in 2017 revealed the secret of the entrepreneur's bankruptcy. His official site was blocked, and the account of the online store exists with the comment about the temporary suspension of activity.
