David Fincher (born August 28, 1962) is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. Born in Denver, he was educated at Ashland High School (Oregon). David is known for his work in various films and television series, playing various roles in the industry such as executive producer, film producer, television producer, actor, and film director.
Fincher directed notable films like Seven (1995), The Game (1997), Fight Club, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Social Network, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. He was also a founder of the animated anthology series Love, Death & Robots, and he served as a member of the board of directors for several films such as The Game, Se7en, and Zodiac (true crime book).
Throughout his career, David Fincher has received numerous awards, including MTV Video Music Awards, Primetime Emmy Award, BAFTA Award, and Golden Globe Awards, among others.
David's father, Jack Fincher, was a screenwriter.
