DAF XF

The first generation is an updated DAF 95, only the abbreviation XF (Extra Forte) was added to the numbers in the designation, which stands for 95XF. The cars received a modified Cabtec-cab and equipment. While retaining the overall style of the 95 Series, the 95XF cab received taller doors, fully enclosed side steps and a new front end styling. The interior has been completely redesigned.

DAF 95XF was equipped with 6-cylinder DAF XF engines with a volume of 12.50 liters (315.381, 428, 483 and 530 hp) and a Cummins 14.0 liter engine (530 hp), synchronized with a 16-speed manual gearbox ServoShift gears with pneumatic booster.
