Curtains allow you to create an atmosphere of comfort, harmony of light, color and shape in the room. They are an element of decor and art, represented by several main stylistic trends.

Curtains, depending on the method of their attachment to the eaves and decorative features, are divided into types:

sliding curtains - the most traditional type of curtains, which are two strips of fabric that can move freely horizontally along the eaves;

Roman blinds in the expanded form are a fabric without folds and going into horizontal folds with the help of a special chain (like on blinds);

Austrian curtains with a method of fastening and control similar to Roman ones, gathering not only into horizontal, but also vertical folds;

Japanese panel curtains are flat fabrics without folds (most often 3-5 panels are used to decorate a standard window), which can freely move horizontally along the cornice with the help of a chain (like on blinds);

screens or roller blinds are an elongated cylinder, inside of which there is a curtain itself rolled into a roll, a lifting mechanism (lace or lever) and clamps;

Noren is a traditional Japanese curtain with vertical slits.
