Colin Jackson, born Colin Ray Jackson on February 18, 1967, in Cardiff, is a Welsh former sprint and hurdling athlete who specialized in the 110 meters hurdles. He is a citizen of the United Kingdom and was educated at Springwood Primary School and Llanedeyrn High School. Jackson is the sibling of Suzanne Packer and the CEO of Wings for Life World Run.
His athletic career highlights include an Olympic Games Silver medal in 1988 in Seoul in the 110 meters hurdles, becoming the Men's European Athlete of the Year in 1994, and earning world championships medals in 1987 in Rome, 1993 in Stuttgart, 1997 in Athens, and 1999 in Seville. Jackson also secured gold medals in the European Championships in 1990 in Split and the European Indoor Championships in 1989 in The Hague.
