Clean Meat was named a Washington Post bestseller. Author Paul Shapiro commissioned a biofabricated leather-bound copy of the book (the first-ever book of its kind) from Geltor to celebrate and promote its release. The leather was made from jellyfish collagen, produced via fermentation.
