Clara Haskil

Clara Haskil (1895-1960) was a Romanian-born pianist who held citizenship in Romania, Switzerland, and France. She was born in Bucharest, Romania and was known for her performances of classical music. Haskil studied at the renowned Conservatoire de Paris in France. Throughout her career, she was recognized for her exquisite piano playing, both as a solo artist and with orchestras and chamber ensembles. Clara Haskil died in December 1960.
