He received this award for his role in the films "Cool Walker: Texas Justice" and "Lone Wolf McQuaid" Chuck Norris is also a well-known producer and screenwriter. He is a master of oriental martial arts. Back in 1988, he published a bestseller based on his own philosophy called The Secret of Inner Strength: My Story. In addition, he is the creator of a large number of TV shows. Owner of his own magazine. He is also an honorary US Marine.

In 1940, the first child was born in the family of auto mechanic Ray Norris. They named him Carlos. The child was named after a close friend and spiritual mentor, Carlos Berry.

In 1956, Chuck Norris's mother divorces his father, as he had long since left their lives for the sake of drinking. The stepfather of Chuck and his two brothers was George Knight. He took care of his stepchildren, no less than his own children, and tried with all his might to instill in them a love for the sport.

He did poorly at school. He did not shine with physical or intellectual abilities. In the future, talking about his childhood, he said: "Academically, I was mediocre, you know, one of those shy guys who do not excel in any subject."

In high school, Chuck took up football. He also got a job as a loader and gave most of the money to his grandmother and mother to take care of his younger brothers.

At 18, Chuck Norris was drafted into the army. He was sent to a base in South Korea. In the first days of service, he breaks his shoulder. Instead of lying in the infirmary, he escapes from it and arranges a tour of the surroundings. There he sees two guys fighting with their legs and arms. Probably this meeting turned his whole life upside down from that moment, he begins to study oriental types of fights and hones his skills.

Returning to the states, he marries classmate Diana Holechek. He has a son. Norris began to teach martial arts in his backyard, and already in 1965 he became a very famous trainer and opened several halls. Soon he has another son and daughter.

Deciding to leave the sport undefeated, Chuck left his sports career and opened a network of karate schools throughout America. having behind him only acting courses in 1972, he gets a role in the action movie "The Way of the Dragon". His friend Bruce Lee invites him there.

Further, his career in cinema went uphill "showdown in San Francisco", followed by "delinquent" and many others. The most stunning success of the actor brought the role of Walker in the TV series "Cool Walker: justice in Texas." The series stretched for ten years, thus eclipsing all the other work of the actor.

2005 is considered the final year in the career of the cinema - the sheriff. Although in 2012 he reappeared on the screens in the film "The Expendables-2".

In recent years, Chuck Norris has been mainly engaged in missionary work. Chuck Norris is very interested in politics and supports the conservative party. In 2020, Chuck Norris celebrated his 80th birthday. Despite the fact that the actor ended his stellar career, he still remains loved by millions of fans and is very popular on the Internet.
