Chen Jingrun (22 May 1933 - 19 March 1996) was a Chinese mathematician and politician. He was born in Fuzhou and held Chinese citizenship. Chen is most known for his work in number theory and was associated with Xiamen University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Chen Jingrun received his education from Xiamen University and later went on to study at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His doctoral advisor was mathematician Hua Luogeng.

Throughout his life, Chen made significant contributions to the field of mathematics, particularly in the areas of number theory. He passed away on 19 March 1996 in Beijing.
