Cathy Freeman

Catherine Astrid Salome Freeman, known as Cathy Freeman, was born on February 16, 1973, in Slade Point, Queensland, Australia. She is an Australian former sprinter who was educated at the Kooralbyn International School. Cathy's father is Norman Freeman and her mother is Cecelia Barber. She has two siblings, Gavin and Garth. Freeman has been in a partnership with James Murch.
