Britt Robertson is an American actress known for her brilliant roles in various films and TV shows. Britt is known for her roles in Disney's Avalon High, The CW's Life Unexpected, The Secret Circle, Under the Dome, The Girl Boss and many other fantasy productions.

Biography

Britt was born on April 18, 1990 to restaurateur Beverly Hayes and Ryan Robertson. The actress was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the United States of America. Britt Robertson is currently 30 years old. Britt is the eldest of seven children; she also has three younger brothers and three younger sisters. The famous actress grew up in Greenville, South Carolina. She was homeschooled due to her mother's concerns about the public school system.

Her family moved to South Carolina where she grew up until the age of 14. According to sources, Britt Robertson was moved by Pretty Woman and dreamed of being an actress. However, she claims that the soap series she watched regularly encouraged her to pursue an acting career.

She later moved to Los Angeles, where she tried her luck at auditions for various television projects. She was chosen for a role in a television series, but, unfortunately, the project never saw the light of day.

First roles

The girl's father was a restaurateur, her mother was a housewife and a categorical opponent of the existing education system. In accordance with her beliefs, the eldest daughter and other children did not attend school, but studied general education subjects at home. So that her daughter would not have problems with socialization, her mother took her to the local theater, where the girl was trusted to play the roles of children. Agents noticed the young talent and advised their relatives to promote their daughter on television.

She began attending auditions for TV shows, and in 2000 she played her first role - the little daughter of jungle scientists, who, after their death, was sheltered by an aboriginal tribe, in the film Sheena. But then there was a lull in her acting career.

At age 16, Britt landed a role in a test episode of the television series Women of a Certain Age, which, although not aired, gave her a start in her career. In 2001, she had a small role in the TV series Power Rangers: Time Patrol, and in 2003 she starred in the family film The Ghost Club. The picture was low-budget, but still brought young Brittany a nomination for the Young Artist Awards as the best young artist for her talented transformation into a lover of the paranormal named Carrie.
