Brendan Behan

Brendan Behan was born on February 9, 1923, in Dublin, and held citizenship in the Republic of Ireland. He was a multifaceted literary figure who worked as a writer, poet, journalist, and songwriter. Behan received his education from Dublin Institute of Technology.

Among his various accomplishments, he was the author of notable works such as "Borstal Boy" and "The Quare Fellow." His father, Stephen Behan, also played a role in his life. Sadly, Brendan Behan passed away on March 20, 1964, in his hometown of Dublin.
