Robert Marvin Hull, more commonly known as Bobby Hull, was born on March 1, 1939, in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. He was a Canadian former ice hockey player known for his skill and was considered one of the greatest players of all time. Bobby Hull was nicknamed "The Golden Jet".
Hull played for the Chicago Blackhawks and was educated with the Ontario Hockey Association. Throughout his career, he received numerous awards, including being a Stanley Cup champion, an Art Ross Trophy winner, and a Lady Byng Memorial Trophy winner.
Bobby Hull was married to Deborah Hull. Together, they had five children: Brett Hull, Bart Hull, Bobby Hull Jr., Michelle Hull, and Blake Hull. Brett Hull also became a professional hockey player and followed in his father's footsteps.
Hull passed away on January 30, 2023, in Wheaton, Illinois. His parents were Robert Hull Sr. and Lena Hull. Throughout his life, Bobby Hull's contribution to the sport of ice hockey was recognized and celebrated through his various accomplishments and awards.
