Bernard Sumner

Bernard Sumner (born 4 January 1956) is an English singer-songwriter, lyricist, guitarist, and musician from Salford, United Kingdom. He is the founder of the New Order, a band that explores various genres including electronic music, rock music, post-punk, new wave music, pop music, indie rock, and alternative rock.

Sumner is also known by the pseudonyms Bernard Dicken and Bernard Dickin. He was educated at Buile Hill High School and is part of the music industry. Furthermore, Sumner holds English nationality and is also recognized as a singer.
