Ben Gibbard

Ben Gibbard is an American singer-songwriter, composer, guitarist, musician, and singer known for founding the indie rock band Death Cab for Cutie. Born on November 8, 1976, in Bremerton, Washington, Gibbard's full name is Benjamin Gibbard. He holds American citizenship and has also been referred to by the name Benjamin Gibbard.

Gibbard attended Olympic High School in Silverdale, Washington, and later studied at Western Washington University. Throughout his career, Gibbard has been involved in the music industry, exploring genres such as indie rock, alternative rock, rock music, and synth-pop.
