The investments are typically done at an early stage and they create value by contributing with knowledge and contacts in areas such as business development, strategy, financing, marketing, and international expansion.

They often make their investments in cooperation with other investors. As most professional investors they require an exit opportunity within time. However, they sometimes make investments for the long term.

Backstage Invest's investments are not typically done at an early stage. They have an open-mind policy towards investments in new industries, but they only invest in proven entrepreneurs with a track record. They want to see proof of concept from real customers prior to investment.
