Augustus Pablo

Augustus Pablo, born Horace Swaby, was a Jamaican musician, composer, pianist, guitarist, songwriter, and record producer known for his work in the reggae, dub music, and roots reggae genres. He was born on June 21, 1954, in Saint Andrew Parish, Jamaica, and held Jamaican citizenship.

During his career, Pablo also used the pseudonyms Ras Levi and his official name, Horace Swaby. He was an influential figure in the music industry.

Pablo passed away on May 18, 1999, in Kingston, Jamaica. He had a child named Addis Pablo, who also became a musician.
