Athos (character)

Athos is a fictional character from the novel "The Three Musketeers" written by Alexandre Dumas. This character is a person born in Béarn, France. Athos is portrayed as a skilled musketeer, who serves as a mentor and father figure to the protagonist, D'Artagnan.

In the story, Athos has a mysterious past, being revealed as a nobleman in disguise. The character meets his demise in Paris, on December 21, 1643.

Interestingly, the character is also depicted as a child of the Greek god Poseidon. This detail adds a mythical aspect to the character, in line with the adventurous spirit of the novel.
