Armand Van Helden

Armand Van Helden, born on February 16, 1970, in Boston, is an American composer, songwriter, disc jockey (DJ), and record producer. He studied at Boston University and is best known for his work across various music genres, including house music, garage house, hip hop music, electronic music, nu-disco, speed garage, big beat, and breakbeat.

In addition to his own name, Van Helden has produced music under several aliases, such as Sultans of Swing, Deep Creed, and Banji Boys. Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions to multiple genres and styles as a versatile artist.
