Alexander Prokhorov

Alexander Prokhorov (1916–2002) was an accomplished physicist and editor known for his work in various scientific fields -. Prokhorov was born in Queensland, Australia, to Alexander Ivanovich Mikhailov and Maria Ivanovna [(74227202)]. He received his education at institutions such as Saint Petersburg State University and Lebedev Physical Institute . Throughout his career, Prokhorov had doctoral students including Nikolay Basov and Evgeny Velikhov .
