Alex Lieberman is the cofounder of Morning Brew, a daily email with news regarding business, world economics, current events, and more. He is also a host of the daily journal-style podcast, Founder's Journal.
Lieberman is originally from New York and studied at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. After lining up his first job with Morgan Stanley, he began writing engaging newsletters about business and finance. Just three years later, in 2018, the Morning Brew was earning more than $3 million in revenue. In 2021, Morning Brew topped 4 million subscribers and generated about $50 million in sales in 2021, doubling the revenue from the prior year. Almost all revenue comes from advertising, including ads within the newsletter.
In 2019, Lieberman was on the 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 list at 25 years old with Morning Brew co-founder, Austin Rief.
