Al-Tabari

Al-Tabari was a historian, philosopher, faqīh, writer, and poet originating from the Abbasid Caliphate . Born in 839 in Amol , Al-Tabari went on to become an influential figure in his various occupations. As the founder of the Jariri school of thought , his contributions to the fields of history, theology, and jurisprudence left a lasting mark.

Among Al-Tabari's notable works are Tafsir al-Tabari and Tahdhib al-Athar , which serve as important sources in Islamic history and tradition. He eventually passed away on February 17, 923, in Baghdad .
