Aesop Rock

Aesop Rock, born as Ian Matthias Bavitz on June 5, 1976, is a musician from New York City. He is a citizen of the United States and has several occupations within the music industry. Aesop Rock is a rapper, singer, record producer, composer, and singer-songwriter.

He attended Northport High School and later pursued higher education at Boston University and Boston University College of Fine Arts. Aesop Rock's music is associated with the genres of rapping and underground hip hop.

Among his notable works are the albums Garbology, Bazooka Tooth, and The Impossible Kid.
