Overview

AI.gov is a website portal for connecting Americans with information on federal government activities to advance the design, development, and responsible use of trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI) and where Americans can receive visibility into the work across the federal government to advance the National AI Initiative. AI.gov provides users with the information that helps shape the activities of the National AI Initiative, including policy documents and strategies, applications of AI, and news and updates from agencies and the federal advisory boards that work with the National AI Initiative.

The National AI Initiative was created by the United States Congress to sustain United State's leadership in AI research and development and to ensure that the United States continues to lead the world in the development and use of trustworthy AI in the public and private sectors while also preparing the workforce for the integration of AI systems across all sectors of the economy and society.
