History and dynamics of development
In 2006, the very first restaurant "Rice" opened on the main street of Rostov-on-Don — Bolshaya Sadovaya.
In 2010, the restaurant chain "Rice" became the largest restaurant company in Rostov-on-Don both in terms of the number of establishments and their total area, the number of seats and the number of employees. At the same time, "Rice" was recognized as the most popular restaurant concept in the Don region.
At the end of 2010, the restaurant chain "Rice" went beyond the Rostov region, opening restaurants in Sochi, on Kurortny Prospekt. According to local experts, "Rice" is a strong player in the catering market, which will seriously compete with the market players of the Krasnodar Territory. This is due to both the low prices of the restaurant chain and the well-chosen location of new establishments," wrote the Business Quarter magazine.
In 2011, the first "Rice" appeared in Krasnodar. In April, the second Sochi restaurant of the "Rice" chain started its work. Starting in September of the same year, the Ris chain opened one new restaurant every month in different districts of Rostov-on-Don and the first restaurant in Aksai. By the end of 2011, the total number of all establishments of the Southern Russian restaurant chain "Rice" reached 30.
In 2012, restaurants began operating in Azov, Anapa, Adler, Bataysk, Tuapse and Novorossiysk.
