Viktor Ullmann (born January 1, 1898, in Český Těšín) was an Austrian composer, pianist, and music critic. He held Austrian citizenship and nationality. Ullmann was educated at the University of Vienna, where he pursued his interests in various musical genres, including opera, atonality, and classical music.

Ullmann is best known for his composition "Der Kaiser von Atlantis", a work emblematic of his diverse talents. Unfortunately, his life was tragically cut short when he died on October 18, 1944.
