Val Zwiller is a physics professor at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He is the CSO and co-founder of Single Quantum, a company specializing in optical imaging and telecommunication systems. Zwiller obtained a master's in physics from Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, France. After graduating from the university in 1995, Zwiller attended Lund University in Lund, Sweden, and obtained his Ph.D. in physics.  In 2005, he began working at the Delft University of Technology as an associate professor, and in 2012 he co-founded Single Quantum with Sander Dorenbos and began work as the company’s CSO. In February 2015, Zwiller began teaching at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
