The protocol is governed by a community of “Standard Token” holders which form a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). The Standard DAO will manage the protocol by making key decisions utilizing smart voting mechanisms and prediction markets.

The Standard Token (TST) allows holders to participate in the governance system deciding on stability fee rates, new features, hard Asset Custodians due-diligence and onboarding requirements, which help to ensure efficiency, decentralization, and transparency of the protocol.
