Thawb literal meaning is "The Garment" in Arabic. The Thawb is statement and everyday ware for many people in the middle east in the Arab culture. It's also a cultural dress that many in the middle east, east and west have adopted throughout the ages from the poor to rich, young children to the elderly. A simple garment which has been mostly adopted by the Muslims in the UK because of it's simplicity and also ease of use. One long ankle length garment which is also known as jubbah.
