Reinhold Begas

Reinhold Begas was a German painter born on July 15, 1831, in Schöneberg. He was educated at the Academy of Arts, Berlin. Begas' father, Carl Joseph Begas, was also a well-known artist.

During his career, Reinhold Begas created several notable works such as the Neptunbrunnen, Bismarck Memorial, National Kaiser Wilhelm Monument, and Schiller Monument (Berlin). Begas held German citizenship and was primarily identified as a painter.

Reinhold Begas passed away on August 3, 1911, in Schöneberg, the same place where he was born.
