Peter Parker in high school.
At the age of thirteen, Peter began attending Midtown High School, where Flash Thompson also attended. Peter's circle of friends quickly began to narrow as many began to hang out with Flash, who became Peter's new abuser. Flash also began dating Liz Allan. However, Carl King also continued to bully Peter following Flash. With the arrival of Charlie Weiderman, the attention to Peter was lost for a while as the bullies switched to the newcomer. Peter also tried his best to insult Charlie in gym class, but immediately felt guilty. Peter tried to make friends with Weiderman and found that they both had an interest in science. But Peter soon discovered that Charlie had a dark side as he tried to create his own super-soldier serum and attempted which landed him in the hospital as he took it himself. Peter continued to try to be a friend to Charlie. As the bullies continued to bully him, Charlie soon couldn't take it anymore and brought out a penknife, and as he was about to reach for it during another confrontation, Peter noticed the knife. He reacted quickly and bumped into Charlie, dropping the knife in the process. When the bullies noticed the knife and called for the coach, Peter took the blame and said it was his uncle's favorite knife and he wanted to sharpen the knife for him. To Peter's surprise, when Uncle Ben was called in, he confirmed his nephew's story, and since Peter was a model boy, he was not in danger of being expelled. On the way home, however, Uncle asked Peter to tell the full story as it really happened. After hearing it all the way through, Uncle Ben said he was proud of his nephew's deed. Later, when someone slashed the hooligans' tires on their cars, Charlie ran to the Parker house and asked Peter to hide him. Although Uncle Ben helped Charlie by forcing the bullies to leave Charlie behind, Uncle Ben told him that he was no longer welcome in their home, and he forbade Peter from associating with him from now on. Soon, however, this was no longer necessary, as the Weiderman family moved away.
Peter read about the space mission of scientist Reed Richards, which eventually led to the Fantastic Four. He also won first place in the school science Olympiad, displacing his not-slim classmate, who had a crush on Peter, for second place. In tenth grade, one of Peter's favorite teachers was his science teacher, Daphne Smith, who often gave loud and explosive demonstrations. Another teacher was Raymond Warren, who supported Peter's desire to pursue science. In the fall of that year, Peter helped his aunt and uncle with yard work. Unknown at the time, Peter first saw Mary Jane Watson, the niece of Anna Watson, a friend of Aunt May.
Three days before the tragedy, Uncle Ben took Peter's nephew to one last baseball game. Peter didn't care after so many years of losing to the Mets, but to his surprise, they won that game.
Becoming Spider-Man
Great Power.
While attending a public exhibition of a demonstration on the safe handling of nuclear rays organized by the Science Lab, a spider is accidentally exposed to the beam. This radioactive spider, dying, bites the first creature in its path, which turns out to be fifteen-year-old Peter Parker (however, when the boy throws the spider away, it manages to bite another person, a girl who was also attending the exhibition). Before Peter left the lab, a girl named Jessica Jones wanted to confess her love to him. In his rush to get home, Peter was nearly hit by a car; when Peter bounced aside, he discovered that he had gained incredible strength, dexterity, and the ability to cling to walls. These were all traits of the spider-man, which he immediately associated with the spider bite.
Spider-Man's first appearance on television
After stumbling across an ad offering a cash reward to anyone who lasted more than three minutes in the cage with professional wrestler Joseph "Crusher" Hogan, Peter decided it would be a good way to further test his newly
newly acquired strength. Wearing clothes and a mask to conceal his identity and not be ridiculed if he was defeated, he easily overpowered his opponent. TV producer Maxwell Schiffman watched Peter's performance and convinced him to go on television with his "number." After sewing a suitable costume and making a special liquid like a spider web and installing it in special triggers on his wrists, Peter called himself Spider-Man, becoming an instant sensation.
During his first television appearance, Peter did nothing to stop the fleeing thief, saying he didn't care. Spider's fame grew and Peter began to forget about the incident with the thief. One night, however, on his way home from a gig, Peter found police officers outside his house, and he later learned that his uncle had been murdered. The policeman told him that the criminal was hiding in an abandoned warehouse. Then Peter decided to disguise himself as Spider-Man and deal with him himself, and when Peter easily captured the culprit, he found out that it was the same one that he didn't want to stop at the TV studio. Filled with remorse, Peter realized that with great power comes great responsibility. Thus, Peter decided to become a superhero.
Great Responsibility
The first problem young Peter faced was the lack of money with the death of his uncle. Due to the fact that his aunt was too weak to work, and Peter was not particularly healthy, he decided to get a job, even though Aunt May wished he had better become a scientist. Peter even thought about using his abilities for crime, but pushed those thoughts aside after thinking about how his aunt would react if he ended up in prison.
However, finding a job seemed impossible to pay for his growing debts. As Spider-Man, he could no longer pursue a career as a television star because of Jonah Jameson, owner of NOW magazine and the Daily Bugle. Jonah Jameson began a campaign against Spider-Man, saying that he was a bad influence on children and criminals, taking justice and law into his own hands, and referring to the case of the thief. These protests caused the public to turn away from Spider-Man and his managers to terminate his contracts, thus taking away Peter's earning power. Peter decided that he should try to look for a job on his own, but all the employers rejected his offer because they didn't want a schoolboy. Peter became more and more angry, and when he noticed his aunt going to pawn her jewelry to pay her debt, Peter became even angrier.
Later, finding nothing better to do, Peter Parker found himself among the spectators waiting for Jonah Jameson's orbital flight, Jonah's son from the newspaper. When Jonah's escape pod had a control failure, Peter had no choice but to change clothes and try to rescue Jameson Jr. Then Spider-Man, by getting on a plane flying to the capsule, was able to fix the malfunction and manual control became available, allowing Jonah's capsule to land safely by parachute. However, although Jonah was rescued by Spider-Man, Jonah's father blamed Spider-Man for the incident.
Trying to find a way to make money, Peter Parker decides to join the superhero team of the Fantastic Four. In the guise of Spider-Man, Peter invades the Baxter building to demonstrate his powers to the team, after which he asks how much they will pay him. But F4 refuses him, saying that they are not a commercial organization, and all the money goes to scientific research. Then Spider-Man decides that he can do without them, and hides. The invisible woman commented that perhaps Spider-Man was in trouble and they were supposed to help him, and the sci-fi man added that he had a hunch they would hear more about Spider-Man. Later that day, a Russian criminal and master of disguise known as Chameleon used Spider-Man's identity to steal missile defense plans. Spider-Man himself was a pawn to avoid being caught by the police by framing Spidey himself. But Spider-Man avoided the police and
caught Chameleon in a helicopter before he could reach the Soviet substrate, and turned him over to the authorities. Peter Parker finally found a way to make some money when Daley Bugle asked for pictures of the winged criminal known as Vulture. Not only did Peter defeat the villain, he also found a way to get pictures of him, which led Jonah Jameson to hire Peter to provide him with pictures of Spider-Man, but on the condition that Jonah not ask Peter how he did it.
In the early stages, Spider-Man made many enemies, such as Tinker; Chameleon's half-brother Craven the Hunter, who hunted Spider-Man; Sandman, who turned into sand and gained the ability to reincarnate; Doctor Doom; Lizard, a prominent scientist who became a Lizard; Fox (in his first timepiece with Torch Man (an android). Living Brains (a mad machine); Electro, an early electrician who, in an accident, became a living battery releasing energy; the master criminal Big Man and his men; Mysterio, a master of illusion and special effects who tried to make Spider-Man look like a criminal; Dr. Octopus, an excellent scientist who, after an accident, gained four extra metal arms; and further, Spider-Man's nemesis, the Green Goblin, an insane criminal who wants to become the new king of the underworld. Six of these villains formed a team called the Sinister Six, led by Doctor Octopus himself, who tried to get Spider-Man by kidnapping Aunt May, trying to force Peter to "name" Spider-Man, but they failed. During this period of time, Peter was dating Betty Brant of Daly Bugle, and Liz Allan was in love with him. At the same time, Peter's aunt and their neighbor, Anna Watson, constantly insisted that the boy date Anna's niece, Mary Jane Watson.
Before receiving his high school diploma, Peter continued to encounter new adversaries such as Crime Circus,Scorpion, Beetle, Alistair Smythe's Spider Killer, Criminal Genius, and Molten Man. He also helped the recent Avengers deal with the robotic Spider-Man created by Kang.
Hero at University.
Spidey is revealed!
Peter finally graduated from high school and gave his farewell speech. He then enrolled at Empire State University on a research scholarship, where he met the important people in his entire life, Harry Osborne and Gwen Stacy.Although Peter was on bad terms with them at first, he soon became friends with them as well as with Flash Thompson, his high school abuser, who ironically became the biggest Spider-Man fan. Soon the Green Goblin returned and revealed Spider-Man's identity, kidnapping him and revealing his identity as well, which was Norman Osborne, the father of Peter Harry's friend. In a fierce struggle, Norman lost all memory of being a Goblin, thanks to which Peter was now in no danger of revealing his identity.
Spider-Man went on to fight new villains again, such as Cat Burglar Rhino, the armored-suit villain who tried to kidnap Jonah Jameson; Shocker, the criminal with the shockwave-emitting mittens; and teamed up with Doctor Strange to defeat the wizard known as Xandu. On top of everything else, he met Mary Jane during this time, but he was then in love with Gwen, and Mary Jane began dating Harry.
After finding a scrap of newspaper in his aunt's house stating that his parents were traitors to their country, Peter decides to research the full story by traveling to Algeria with the help of the Fantastic Four. He discovers that his parents were supposedly spies who worked for the Red Skull, and finds their passes to the Skull organization. Spider-Man also stumbles upon the original Red Skull Nazi and his men, who previously worked for another Red Skull. He subsequently discovers his father's CIA identification card, proving to Peter that his parents were secret government employees. With the evidence to clear
his parents' names, Peter returns to the States.
No More Spider-Man.
Peter stops being Spider-Man.
Because of the increasing number of criminals, Peter was forced to spend most of his time fighting them while the Daily Bugle wrote articles on him that tried to make him look like a villain. Spider-Man's living situation deteriorated even more when Aunt May became ill again. Because of his frequent absences, Parker was called in by Professor Warren, who expressed concern about his academic career. After seeing Jonah Jameson make Spider-Man look like a villain again on television, Peter realized he no longer wanted to be a hero. Throwing his Spider-Man costume into a trash can in an alley, he intended to tell Jonah Jameson that he would no longer take pictures for him. When he arrived at the Daily Bugle newsroom the next day, he noticed that Jameson had found his costume and displayed it as a decoration in his office. No longer being Spider-Man, Peter was able to devote more time to his studies, Gwen Stacy, and his aunt. However, after Kingpin appeared, organized crime intensified and it became increasingly difficult for Peter to ignore his heroic duties. After apprehending a shoplifter, he remembered the events that caused him to become Spider-Man and realized that he could not do nothing. Upon arriving at Jonah Jameson's office, Parker reclaimed his costume. When Jonah Jameson returned to his office a few minutes later, he noticed the suit was missing. The head of the Daily Bugle was horrified that Spider-Man had returned.
Spider-Man and Jonah Jameson are trapped
Once again becoming Spider-Man, Peter fought Kingpin's bandits and once again began taking pictures for Daley Bugle. Thanks to Kingpin's henchmen, Parker managed to find the villain's hideout. Once there, it was discovered that the villain had kidnapped Jonah Jameson. Spider-Man bound Kingpin's underlings with a web and attacked him. A battle ensued between the two, which the hero won at first, but was eventually defeated because of the gas with which he was sedated. The defeated hero, along with the head of the Daily Bugle, was taken to a room that was to be flooded. Before this happened, however, Peter broke free and escaped the room with Jonah. The hero headed out to fight Kingpin, but realizing he would lose to the hero, he fled. Spider-Man became enraged when he found out that Jameson still considered him a threat, disregarding his escape. Later, Parker was at a party where Harry Osborne provoked a fight. As he left the party with his friend, he learned that Harry was very upset by the behavior of his father Norman, who was more interested in
