Pete Shelley

Pete Shelley , born as Peter Campbell McNeish on April 17, 1955 , was an English musician known for his work in various music genres, including new wave music , punk rock , synth-pop , power pop , and pop punk . He was born in Lancaster, Lancashire and was named after the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley .

Pete Shelley studied at the University of Bolton before embarking on his musical career. Throughout his life, he held multiple occupations in the music industry, such as a guitarist , musician , record producer , songwriter , singer , and music arranger .

Shelley passed away at the age of 63 in Tallinn on December 6, 2018 .
